Ensuring dignity, fairness, and safety for every member of our workforce
At Esquire Garments, our labour policies reflect international standards and local regulations, ensuring every worker is treated with respect and fairness. These policies are regularly audited and strictly enforced across all departments.
Fair Compensation
We ensure all workers receive wages that meet or exceed minimum wage requirements, with timely monthly payments and proper overtime compensation. Our compensation structure includes annual performance-based increments and old age pension provisions for long-term employee security.
Working Hours
Our standard work week is limited to 48 hours with overtime not exceeding 12 hours weekly, ensuring workers maintain healthy work-life balance. Every employee receives one mandatory day off per week and all national public holidays as per Pakistan's official calendar.
Health & Safety
We maintain a clean, well-ventilated workplace with proper lighting and safety equipment, conducting regular fire safety training and emergency drills. All employees have access to on-site first-aid facilities and are provided with necessary personal protective equipment for their specific roles.
Workers' Rights
Employees have complete freedom to form or join unions and engage in collective bargaining, with an established worker representative system for voicing concerns. We maintain anonymous complaint boxes in all departments and guarantee no retaliation for grievances raised through proper channels.
Zero Tolerance
We strictly prohibit child labor (minimum employment age is 18), forced labor, and any form of discrimination based on gender, religion, or ethnicity. Harassment, abuse, unsafe practices, and punitive wage deductions are absolutely forbidden and result in immediate disciplinary action.
Employee Welfare
Female employees receive 12 weeks of paid maternity leave along with basic healthcare coverage for all workers. We invest in skills development programs and provide essential facilities including clean drinking water, hygienic restrooms, and transportation allowances.
